About

We started this for the gear we wanted to find.

Golden farm fields under a dramatic evening sky

The Story

How we got here.

Last Light Arms is a Pennsylvania-based outfitter — Type 07 FFL in process — specializing in suppressors and the gear that performs when the light goes. Founded by Austin Weiss in 2026 out of Lebanon County, we exist because we kept walking out of gun shops feeling like we hadn't been served.

Either too pushy, too clueless, too tactical-bro, or too out-of-touch with what modern hunters and shooters actually want. The conversation always seemed to pull toward whatever the shop happened to be moving that month, not toward whatever was right for the customer at the counter.

So we built the shop we'd want to walk into. Edited inventory. Honest pricing. A focus on the part of the field where the right advice is genuinely valuable — suppressors, NFA processing, and the rifles built around them.

Why suppressors

The anchor of the brand.

Both audiences we care about — the hunter and the operator — want them. For the hunter, Pennsylvania's 2014 law made hunting with one legal, and the case for hearing protection in the field is impossible to argue with once you've heard it.

For the shooter who runs duty or competition platforms, the eForm 4 process changed the math. What used to be a year of waiting is now weeks. The biggest reason most shooters didn't own a can is gone.

We sit at the intersection of those two audiences. The rifle, the hearing, the ethics, the paperwork — all the same conversation, all handled in the same place.

Why Pennsylvania

Lebanon County.

We're rooted in Lebanon County. South-central Pennsylvania has some of the deepest firearms culture in the country — generations of hunters, generations of competitive shooters, and a manufacturing base that goes back further than most states' entire firearms history.

We're an easy reach to Harrisburg, Lancaster, Reading, and the rest of the I-78/I-81 corridor. Close enough to serve the population that needs us, far enough out to keep the kind of shop we want to keep.

What we believe

A short list.

  • Suppressors should be normal.

A normal piece of safety equipment, not an exotic accessory. Hearing matters; recoil matters; humane shots matter. The stigma is older than the data.

  • The gear conversation should be welcoming.

New shooters deserve patience. Experienced shooters deserve respect. There’s no value in posturing — the rifle doesn’t care.

  • Fundamentals beat trends.

Trigger pull, sight alignment, breath control. The same things have made better shooters for a hundred years and they’ll make better shooters for a hundred more.

  • Quiet beats loud.

In our brand voice, in our shop, on the rifle. We say less, we work more. Last Light is named for the moment that matters.
